Ganuza Ledger

I came to bookkeeping from inside healthcare.

Ganuza Ledger is one person. That is deliberate. The person who knows your books is the person who answers your email.

The short version

I served as a Hospital Corpsman in the Navy and I'm a licensed practical nurse, currently practicing. Between the two, that's thirteen years inside healthcare.

For most of that time, I never touched a bill. Military care runs on TRICARE, so there's no claim to chase — it just gets paid. Nursing put me at the bedside, charting vitals and medications, never anywhere near the money side of the practice.

It wasn't until I started looking closely at how an independent practice actually runs financially that I found the gap myself — and found that most people in medicine are standing in the exact same spot I was. They know medicine. They don't know what happens to a claim after it leaves the building.

I know what a clearinghouse routes and what it doesn't, why a remittance shows up separately from the deposit, and why a payroll liability account that climbs and never clears is an emergency rather than an untidiness.

Ganuza Ledger opened in August 2026. I'm taking on a small number of clients to start, general small businesses among them, so that every file gets done properly rather than quickly.

How your information is handled

  • I work inside your own QuickBooks Online file, under access that you grant me and can revoke at any time. The file belongs to you and stays in your name.

  • I never hold signing authority, never initiate transfers, and never have access to your funds.

  • Where the work touches records covered by health privacy law, a business associate agreement applies and I will sign one.

  • Documents go through a secure shared folder rather than loose email attachments. I will never ask for your online banking password — read-only bank feeds handle the connection.
